PSP is working diligently to communicate the terms of the contract with the intent to facilitate your understanding of available options.
WHAT IS NEW?
PSP has worked closely with our customers to customize a new external carrier design that improves functionality by providing alternative load bearing options to balance the load and allow for more effective use of the tools an Officer has at their disposal.
Many Agencies have decided to upgrade to the new NIJ.0101.06 certified level II ballistic panel set. The new platform provides a lighter weight solution, which maximizes wearer comfort and adds peace of mind from the robust testing protocol.
WHEN IS THE CONTRACT IN EFFECT?
January 16, 2012 – January 15, 2017, including option years
HOW WILL THIS CHANGE AFFECT ME?
By offering you a turnkey, comprehensive solution using the best available materials and technology.
CAN I STILL BUY MY EXISTING CARRIER?
Yes you can, however as it is a custom design not offered under the contract, please contact PSP directly to discuss your requirements.
CAN I STILL BUY NIJ0101.04/5 BALLISTIC PANEL SETS?
Yes you can, however it is not offered under the current contract. Please contact PSP directly to discuss your requirements.
CAN I MATCH THE NEW MOLLE CARRIER WITH EXISTING BALLISTIC PANEL SETS?
The new carriers were designed to fit the new NIJ 0101.06 ballistic panel sets. As there are many different styles of ballistic panel sets please contact PSP to discuss your specific requirements
