Daniel Marks – Executive Chairman: Mr. Marks brings over twenty years of investment management experience to the Board of Directors. Mr. Marks is the President and Principal of Stonehouse Capital Management Inc., a portfolio management firm and he holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and an MBA earned at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.

 

Doug Lucky – Director and Chief Executive Officer/Interim Chief Financial Officer: Mr. Lucky is an executive with extensive restructuring and corporate finance experience, who, most recently, advised on and executed the restructuring of MTI Global Inc. (now Zuni Holdings Inc.). His prior experience includes being a partner and Senior Vice President at Ernst & Young LLP (Corporate Finance and Restructuring), partner at RBC Capital Partners, VP Finance at Silicon Optix Inc., and consulting financial executive to other public and private companies. Mr. Lucky is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.

 

Terry Vaudry – Chairman of the Audit Committee: Mr. Vaudry is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of North American Logistics Services Inc. (“NALSI”), a Canadian asset based specialty transportation and customs brokerage firm that designs and delivers sophisticated logistics solutions across North America and internationally.

 

Fraser Campbell – Mr. Campbell is a partner and director of First Growth Management (“FGM”), a private equity company which invests both capital and varied management resources in small to mid-sized businesses with attractive growth potential. Mr. Campbell has held a number of executive positions in FGM investee companies including as President of Modu-Loc Fence Rentals Ltd., IFCO Systems Canada and PalEx Canada.

 

Ken Hight – Mr. Hight has over 30 years of experience working in global institutional financial markets and small cap Canadian listed companies. Mr. Hight acted as the Global Head of Securities of Liquidnet Holdings, Inc. and Chief Executive Officer of Liquidnet Canada, Inc. from March 2008 to Sept 2009. His financial industry experience includes serving as the Chief Executive Officer and President of ITG Canada Corp., Deputy Chair and Head of Global Equities of TD Securities, and a member of the Executive Committee of ITG Inc. Mr. Hight is the former Executive Vice-President of E*TRADE Capital Markets where he was responsible for global institutional business, Chief Executive Officer of E*TRADE Canada, and Executive Vice-President of E*TRADE Capital Markets. Currently Mr. Hight is involved with a number of junior resource companies listed on Canadian stock exchanges. These include Portage Minerals (RKX), Chair and Chief Executive Officer, Grandview Gold (GVX), Director, and Sheltered Oak Resources (OAK), Director.

 

Dirk Schlimm – Mr. Schlimm has over twenty years of executive, legal and consulting experience. He currently consults with clients in North America, Asia Pacific and Europe. During his previous 14 year career at Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd., Mr. Schlimm had executive responsibility for board management, governance practices, intellectual property, legal and human resources. Mr. Schlimm is a graduate of the ICD Directors’ Education Program at The Rotman School of Management in Toronto and currently teaches in the program.
He holds a law degree from the University of Bonn, Germany and a doctorate in international law from the University of Konstanz, Germany. His work on lender liability towards financially troubled borrowers has been published by Lloyd’s of London Press.
