SALES AND MARKETING
Sales
Our Territory Account Managers are key contributors to ensuring the future success of our business. They are responsible for:
- possessing and maintaining in-depth product knowledge;
- in-depth knowledge of customer requirements and the ability to service their needs;
- developing strong customer relationships and representing the voice of the customer; and
- selling PSP Soft Body Armor, ballistic protection and other personal protection solutions.
Our sales team possesses a minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience selling law enforcement and military products in Canada, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and good work ethics with attention to detail.
Market Development
The key to a company’s survival is a strong market development plan. This position seeks out strategic customers to build strong relationships for advancing product line positioning and technology. To be successful, the person will need to possess a proven track record in being able to research, conceive, analyze and create and implement innovative product ideas and initiatives to advance the product roadmap. Military, power generation, and chemical protective market development or end user experience is an asset.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Product Designer
Our Product Designers utilize their creativity and design skills to create prototypes, finished assemblies as well as product modifications and document each process. They define and maintain product technical data for new and existing products, conduct research into new technologies and design concepts and interface with the customer, end-user and co-workers. To join our team you must possesses a minimum of a two year diploma in textile design, 3-4 years experience preferably in a manufacturing environment, Gerber and Tukacad experience, clothing design, sewing and pattern making experience.
Ballistic Specialist Engineer
As a Ballistic Specialist Engineer you will be PSP’s ballistic expert responsible for providing technical support and advice, developing and carrying out product development test plans, validation and quality assurance on various manufactured raw materials, products and prototypes. To be successful in this role you will have a 4 year university degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics or applied science backed by 5 to 6 years experience preferably in law enforcement or defence industries. In-depth knowledge in protective materials design, selection, testing methodologies, firearms, ammunition and fragment simulating projectiles would definitely make you a prime candidate.
Mechanical Design Engineer
As Mechanical Design Engineer at PSP, you will take a hands-on approach to the design of soft body wear solution and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. This role will provide product support in mechanical design, materials science, environmental testing, reliability and failure analysis. To be successful you will possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design, backed by 5+ years experience preferably in a defence or military environment.
Project Management
This role is involved in every business aspect within PSP which includes new projects, RFP proposals, and ongoing current contracts. The successful candidate will have solid project management skills and a proven track record with work experience in law enforcement and military.

Casual Sewing, Cutting Machine Operators, and Inspectors

Inside Sales and Customer Care
Our Customer Care Department has dedicated employees who act as the liaison between the company and the customer by providing outbound calling for lead generation, information to customers and taking orders. These individuals display ownership of customer data by ensuring all required changes are made in a timely manner and perform regular reviews to ensure accuracy. These positions exhibit a “Supplier of Choice” attitude when performing their job functions.
